About Department of Tourism & Hospitality Management

Our vision is to become a centre of excellence at the frontiers of tourism and ‎hospitality management education, research, consultancy, training & development ‎and strengthening sustainable and responsible practices of the tourism and ‎hospitality industry. The department’s vision is also to educate and train students to ‎match the changing demands of the industry and contribute to the society. ‎

‎1.‎ To promote excellence in distinctive and impactful teaching, training & ‎development and contemporary research in the tourism and hospitality ‎industry.‎

‎2.‎ To educate and nurture leaders of tourism and hospitality industry and ‎entrepreneurial organizations and supporting them in their efforts to create ‎high-quality talent and value.‎

‎3.‎ To contribute towards tourism and hospitality industry practice through ‎continuous engagement with experienced faculties and prominent ‎stakeholders, decision makers and leaders across the globe- including ‎government, businesses, non-governmental enterprises and host ‎communities of the tourism destinations.‎

‎4.‎ The department has opportunity to get research projects, consultancy and to ‎frame policy note/document for tourism development in the state.‎
