The mission of the School of Economics, Management and Information Science (SEMIS), ‎Mizoram University (MzU) is to impart specialised education and transform young ‎generation into competent professionals in the fields of Business, Industry, Media, ‎Tourism & Hospitality and Information Science that will best serve the native State and the ‎nation at large. The School is committed to provide quality education, which is very ‎relevant, accessible and affordable to the student community.‎

The vision of the School of Economics, Management and Information Science (SEMIS), ‎Mizoram University (MzU) is to become one of the leading schools of higher learning in ‎eastern part of India. The School strides to achieve its vision through imparting ‎specialised education in different sectors of the economy viz, Media, Tourism & Hospitality ‎and Information Science.‎
