Action Plan (for next five years 2023-28):
To execute the National Education Policy, 2020 effectively and efficiently by updating the Syllabus in all PG and UG programs regularly based on the feedback provided by different stakeholders.
To produce over 1,000 post graduate students from six departments under the School.
To provide supervision for over 100 Ph.D. scholars in contemporary fields of study.
To provide PG students with hands-on experience through their curriculum in the form of internship, field work, dissertation etc.
To strengthen placement of students in all the Departments under the School.
To strengthen the Industry-Institute Interface, to involve the industry in teaching-learning processes and to develop workforce as per ever changing needs.
To strengthen collaboration with various industry partners by signing MoUs.
To motivate and involve the students, scholars, faculty and staff to carry out extension activities in association with Government and Non-Government Organisations for the benefit of community at large.
To improve research footprint by publishing over 400 research papers in journals of repute.
To offer Executive Development Programmes to cater to the evolving needs of the industry.
To get recognition among the peer institutions through research footprint.
To train and encourage students to take up entrepreneurship as their first career option.
To establish and operate a Community Radio Station with the support of the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Govt. of India.
To carry out the research work towards pressing social and business needs and issues.
To commence the publication of a journal by the School.
To install facilities for in-house skill development hubs for select trades.
To involve in impactful research with the support of various funding agencies.
To organize over 30 international/ national seminars/ workshops.
